Taste WA Trade Mission Promotes Great Southern Food and Beverages
The Taste WA trade mission is set to commence 27 March 2023, bringing 25 international food buyers from more than 10 countries to tour the Great Southern, as well as Perth and the South West region.
The week long program will offer international delegates the chance to connect directly with local producers, sample high-quality food and beverage products, and gain an insight into products of Great Southern, South West and Perth provenance.
International delegates attending the trade mission will represent markets including China, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
With the view of increasing regional food and beverage exports, this trade mission is a collaborative effort by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA, Great Southern Development Commission, South West Development Commission, Australian Trade and Investment Commission, with the support of the Department of Jobs, Science, Tourism and Innovation through Invest and Trade WA.
