Great Southern Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy

The GSDC is part of a project to develop a Great Southern Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy and your input is welcome. Through the Great Southern Creative Exchange, we invite you to contribute your thoughts and ideas as we develop the first such strategy in Western Australia.

Visit GS Creative Exchange to find out more about the project, complete the initial survey and register to attend a think tank.

The document will set a strategic framework for the region to strengthen its cultural and creative partnerships, programs and assets and attract new creative opportunities. GS Creative Exchange aims to bring social and economic benefits to the region, strengthen creative communities, grow capacity and celebrate our indigenous heritage and regional identity.

We chair GS Creative Exchange, which is a collaboration between the City of Albany, shire governments, creative groups and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
