GSDC Medal save the date
With the imminent close of nominations for the 2018-19 GSDC Medal, interested people are reminded to save the date for the gala presentation dinner on Friday 7 June.
Following the close of nominations on Wednesday 27 March, the medal panel of judges will begin assessing the nominations. A shortlist of three finalists will be developed and announced in May, ahead of the presentation in June.
Tickets for the presentation dinner will be available from the GSDC from April. Check the GSDC website for details.
The medallist will receive the sterling silver medal and a grant to further their work. The two runner-up finalists will also receive funding to support their work.
The GSDC Medal offers public recognition for and rewards best practice and innovative contributions by people working in the management of natural resources for the benefit of the Great Southern region. The award is open to people working in the sector that go above and beyond, and to those who volunteer their time and resources.
