Hidden Treasures Bloom Festival
Pingrup hosted the closing event of the successful 2018 Hidden Treasures Bloom Festival on Saturday 20 October with a market and family fun day at the town’s newly upgraded Community and Sporting Pavilion.
The event closed the month-long Bloom Festival program, which featured 80 events across nine local government areas. Among other achievements, the organisers reported that the three events co-funded by Hidden Treasures (the 360 Bloom opening at Cranbrook, Mucky Duck Bush Band and dance at Woodanilling and the close at Pingrup) attracted over 2,600 people.
The 2018 program included gourmet food events, garden and nature walks, wildflower displays and art exhibitions, among many others.
The GSDC is a founding supporter and principal partner of the Bloom Festival, and is providing $50,000 of State Government funding to support the event over three years from 2017 to 2019.
