Creative and innovative approaches to building a sustainable future will be presented in the Great Southern Sustainable Living Festival in March. The Green Skills event, supported by the GSDC, runs from Wednesday 14 March to Saturday 31 March, and includes the South Coast Sustainable Living Fair and Expo on Saturday 17 March.
A new key event called Eat the City invites people to take part in a lock-in style participatory workshop to explore a fictional scenario of a breakdown in the Great Southern food supply chain. The artists involved help participants think through creative approaches to food supply.
The festival program also includes a micro film festival of short films made in the Great Southern, and events centred on art, eco-housing, cooking and renewable energy.
Full details are available at the festival program page.
