Member for Warren-Blackwood Jane Kelsbie MLA launched Taste Great Southern 2022 at an event at the Perth City Farm on Wednesday 9 March.

Premium food and wine from the Great Southern were showcased at the launch and guests were invited to make their plans for an enjoyable sojourn in the region from 5 to 15 May.

Taste Great Southern recently secured three-year funding through the State Government’s Tourism WA Regional Events Program, taking the event through to 2024.

We have supported Taste since it started in 2005 and continue as a major sponsor to help it deliver a program highlighting the Great Southern’s food and beverage experiences. Taste invites travellers into the region, boosting our economy, and encourages locals to enjoy and learn about the excellence of regional products.

Among the 30-plus events on the 2022 program are long table degustations, markets, seafood specialties, cooking masterclasses and multiple opportunities to enjoy award-winning wines and other beverages.
