Regional Investment Fund
The Western Australian Government has established a Regional Investment Fund which will provide assistance with the economic and social development of regional Western Australia or improve the access by regional communities to services. Funding is available through a variety of financial assistance schemes.
Regional Development Scheme
The primary objective of the Great Southern Regional Development Scheme is to improve the economic and social development of the Great Southern through projects that will assist in attracting investment and increasing employment. Applicants must be organisations or industry groups/associations based in the Great Southern region. The project must have the potential to lead to economic development and job creation.
Great Southern and Western Australian Community Foundation Challenge Grants
The Western Australian Community Foundation has been established to help nurture and grow philanthropic giving in our State. It serves as a vehicle through which individuals, community groups and organisations can direct their giving to their local communities in a manner that produces sustainable and long term outcomes. The Foundation and GSDC are offering a second round of Challenge Grants to communities and interest groups who raise matching funds to establish donation funds.
Small Business Development Corporation
SBDC is a Western Australian State Government agency focused on the development of the small business sector and is committed to championing the cause of small business. The agency develops programs and services to meet the needs of small business development.
The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR)
FRRR has been established as a partnership between philanthropy, governments and business to stimulate rural and regional renewal in Australia. Funding is available for projects that meet FRRR guidelines and have real potential to achieve significant results for people within rural and regional Australia.
Lotterywest Grants
Thanks to the profits derived from the sale of games such as Lotto and Scratch’n’Win, Lotterywest is able to support a wide variety of not-for-profit, community-based proposals that enhance the lives of Western Australians right across our State.
