About Us

The GSDC is a Western Australian Government Agency with offices in Albany and Katanning. The GSDC's activities focus on economic and social development.

The GSDC was established as a Statutory Authority under the Regional Development Commissions Act in 1993. It is one of nine development commissions established under this Act by the Government of Western Australia.

The Minister

The GSDC reports to the Hon Brendon Grylls MLA, Minister for Regional Development. Mr Grylls' web page is available on the Parliament of Western Australia website here.

Board of Management

The Board of Management is the governing body of the GSDC and meets regularly to set major policy directions including budgets, major expenditure approvals and advice to the Minister on regional matters. Find out more about the Board of Management here.

Staff
